Two light aircraft collided in the air and crashed into a forest southwest of Sydney, Australia. It was reported that one pilot lost their life, while the other pilot is in good health.
A plane crash was reported to have occurred around 12:30 near the airport in the Wedderburn suburb, southwest of Sydney, Australia.
ONE PILOT LOST HIS LIFE
A written statement from NSW police indicated that two small aircraft collided in the air over the Wedderburn area. Police stated that after the collision, one of the light aircraft fell into the forest. The statement noted that the lifeless body of the pilot, believed to be the sole passenger of the aircraft, was found at the crash site.
THE OTHER'S HEALTH CONDITION IS GOOD
The second aircraft safely landed at the airport, and the pilot's health condition was reported to be good. The statement shared that the accident would be investigated by the Australian Transport Safety Bureau.
