Two students trapped in the elevator of the KYK dormitory in the Honaz district of Denizli were rescued by fire brigade teams.

According to the information received, last night, the elevator in the KYK dormitory where female students reside stopped for an undetermined reason. The two students trapped in the elevator were rescued from their location after the fire brigade teams arrived at the dormitory following a report.

STUDENTS' HEALTH CONDITIONS ARE GOOD

In a statement made by the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, it was noted that the news reports stating "the elevator fell in the dormitory" published by some news sites do not reflect the truth. The statement emphasized that the students were rescued from the elevator within 15 minutes, and it was stated, "All periodic maintenance of the elevators in our dormitories has been carried out, and the situation experienced is a normal elevator malfunction. There is no such thing as an elevator fall."
