Galatasaray's national goalkeeper Uğurcan Çakır ranked 3rd in the list of income tax record holders for 2024 in Trabzon. It was reported that Uğurcan paid 22 million 714 thousand TL in taxes on his earnings from his time at Trabzonspor. Trabzonspor President Ertuğrul Doğan also found a place for himself at 23rd in the individual list.
The Revenue Administration (GİB) announced the list of income tax champions for the year 2024. According to the list, national goalkeeper Uğurcan Çakır, who was recently transferred from Trabzonspor to Galatasaray for a transfer fee of 36 million euros, ranked 3rd in Trabzon.
PAID OVER 22 MILLION TL IN TAXES
According to the news from Trabzon's press outlet 61Saat, it was reported that an income tax of 22 million 714 thousand 624 TL was accrued on the earnings of Uğurcan Çakır during his time wearing the Trabzonspor jersey. With this amount, the national goalkeeper ranked among the top three in the individual income tax ranking across Trabzon.
MAJOR CONTRACT WITH GALATASARAY
The 29-year-old national goalkeeper signed a 5-year contract with Galatasaray, valid until the end of the 2029-2030 season.
According to the contract, Çakır's annual guaranteed salaries will be as follows;
- 2024-25 season: 110 million TL
- 2025-26 season: 120 million TL
- 2026-27 season: 130 million TL
- 2027-28 season: 140 million TL
- 2028-29 season: 150 million TL
PRESIDENT DOĞAN ALSO ON THE LIST
In the same list, Trabzonspor Club President Ertuğrul Doğan was also included. Doğan ranked 1st in Corporate Tax with his company Oltan and Köleoğlu Electricity and Energy Production Trade Inc., while he took 23rd place in individual income tax. It was announced that the amount of income tax accrued for President Doğan for the year 2024 was 4 million 298 thousand 104 TL.
