Ukraine's Ambassador to London, Valeriy Zaluzhny, stated in a speech in England that the White House is "questioning the unity of the entire Western world" and that "the United States is destroying the established world order."

After the quarrel between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Zelensky, tensions between the two countries are rising.

According to a report by the BBC, Ukrainian Ambassador Zaluzhny criticized the way the Trump administration handles foreign policy at a conference held at the British think tank Chatham House.

"THE US IS DESTROYING THE ESTABLISHED ORDER"

Pointing out that the White House is "questioning the unity of the entire Western world," Zaluzhny stated, "We see that it is not only the axis of evil and Russia trying to revise the world order, but the US is also ultimately destroying this order."

The Ukrainian ambassador warned that as a result of Washington's change in attitude, "NATO's existence could come to an end," suggesting that Moscow's next target could be "Europe."

Ambassador Zaluzhny assessed that the US's cessation of intelligence support to Ukraine and its opposition to the United Nations (UN) resolution condemning Russia's aggression in Ukraine is a "great challenge for the whole world."

HE WAS THE CHIEF OF GENERAL STAFF OF UKRAINE

Zaluzhny was removed from the position of Chief of General Staff on February 8, 2024, and was later appointed as Ukraine's Ambassador to London.

WHAT HAPPENED?

During a meeting in the Oval Office on February 28, US President Trump and Ukrainian President Zelensky argued in front of cameras, and the joint press conference that was announced was canceled. Zelensky left the White House alone, and the rare earth elements agreement was not signed.

Trump claimed that Zelensky "disrespected the American people," while Zelensky stated that he had not done anything wrong to apologize for.

On Tuesday evening, Trump, speaking in Congress, mentioned that Zelensky had sent him a letter and expressed that Ukraine was ready to sign the rare earth elements agreement and engage in peace talks.

Meanwhile, US Central Intelligence Agency Director John Ratcliffe confirmed that they temporarily halted intelligence support and military shipments to this country following the Oval Office dispute between Trump and Zelensky, but emphasized that this was temporary.
