Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament Ruslan Stefanchuk announced that Prime Minister Yuliya Sviridenko submitted her resignation letter to parliament.
NEW PRIME MINISTER TO BE DETERMINED THIS WEEK
Stefanchuk stated, "Parliament will address this issue soon according to current procedures," and thanked Sviridenko for her work during her tenure.
According to reports in the Ukrainian press, Sviridenko's resignation letter is expected to be discussed in parliament on July 14.
It was indicated that the new prime minister and the cabinet are expected to receive a vote of confidence from parliament within this week.
WHAT DID ZELENSKY SAY?
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced yesterday in a statement on his social media account that they decided to change the country's political strategy, and within this scope, a revision of the government would be made.
In his message, Zelensky said: "We decided that the cabinet needs to be renewed for changes. I am grateful to Yuliya for her clear, stable, and effective work as prime minister, and for her years of successful activity in the Ukrainian government, and I offered her to lead a new and important direction in relations with a key ally. I hope we will carry out the relevant changes in the Ukrainian government with the deputies."

The Ukrainian Parliament approved the appointment of former Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yuliya Sviridenko as prime minister in July 2025.
