With the new regulation by the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM), unauthorized use of flashing lights and sirens will result in an administrative fine of 96,000 TL. This decision was made to ensure safety on the roads. It was specifically noted that private vehicles, commercial vehicles, and VIP transport will be strictly monitored. Additionally, those using unauthorized flashing lights or sirens will have their driving licenses confiscated for 30 days, and their vehicles will be banned from traffic for 30 days as well.
