A material damage accident occurred in the Çorlu district of Tekirdağ as a result of a collision between two cars. When one of the drivers heard that the police would be called, he said, "I will call my brother," left his car, and fled the scene.
An accident with material damage occurred at around 00:15 on Cemal Gürsel Boulevard in the Çobançeşme neighborhood of Çorlu district in Tekirdağ. The car driven by S.G., which was transitioning from Bülent Ecevit Boulevard to Cemal Gürsel Boulevard, was hit from behind by another car while it was pulling over to the side of the road.
HE FLED AFTER LEAVING HIS CAR UPON HEARING THE POLICE WOULD BE CALLED
There were no injuries in the accident, but material damage occurred to the vehicles. According to allegations, after S.G. stated that he would call the police to the scene, the driver of the car involved in the accident reportedly said, "I will call my brother" and fled the scene on foot.
THE VEHICLE WAS LOADED ON A TOW TRUCK
After the checks conducted by the traffic police who arrived at the scene, the car left by the fleeing driver was removed by a tow truck and taken to the Yediemin Parking Lot.
HE LEFT SAYING "I WILL CALL MY BROTHER"
Speaking about the accident, driver S.G. said, "I was slowing down to drop off my friend by the roadside. The other driver got out of the car and said, 'Let's write a report, let me get your number, I will call you.' I told him, 'I will call the police.' Then he said to us, 'I will call my brother,' but he ran away. He also left the car with us," he said.
