THE DISTRICT GOVERNOR'S OFFICE HAS INITIATED AN INVESTIGATION

In a statement, the District Governor's Office shared the results of the investigation they initiated after images were shared showing that "men and women prayed side by side at the Üsküdar Valide-i Cedid Mosque."

"AN ADDITIONAL SECTION HAS BEEN CREATED WITH A PARTITION INSIDE THE MOSQUE"

The statement included the following expressions: "In the evaluation made, it was observed that there is a high interest from the female congregation in our mosque, and due to the inadequacy of the section allocated for them, an additional section was created inside the mosque with a partition, allowing men and women to worship separately.
