Numan Kurtulmuş began political party tours following the joint report of the National Solidarity, Brotherhood, and Democracy Commission. In his first visit to Devlet Bahçeli, Kurtulmuş stated, "The joint report is a historic threshold; it fulfilled the responsibility that falls upon the Parliament."
The Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmuş, has initiated a visit program for political parties following the report prepared by the National Solidarity, Brotherhood, and Democracy Commission. In this context, the first stop was the MHP Headquarters.
FIRST STOP MHP HEADQUARTERS
The visit took place at 12:00 at the MHP Headquarters. MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli welcomed Kurtulmuş at the door of his office. Evaluations regarding the process were discussed during the meeting.
After approximately 30 minutes of contact, the two figures appeared before the press to make a joint statement.
"THE ASSEMBLY FULFILLED ITS RESPONSIBILITY"
In his statement, Numan Kurtulmuş expressed that efforts should continue for Turkey to send this issue to the dusty pages of history. Thanking Devlet Bahçeli for his support in the process, Kurtulmuş stated that Bahçeli's attitude and guidance were exemplary.
Emphasizing that the democratic approach should be maintained with the same clarity in the upcoming process, Kurtulmuş pointed to the preparation of laws as part of the duties of the TBMM General Assembly. Kurtulmuş said, "The joint report is a historic threshold; the Assembly has fulfilled its responsibility."
VISIT TRAFFIC CONTINUES
Kurtulmuş's contacts will not be limited to the MHP. It has been announced that the Speaker of the Assembly will visit the CHP group at 15:30 and the DEM Party group at 16:30.
As part of the program, the Yeni Yol Party will be visited on Wednesday, February 25, at 15:00, and the AK Party group at 16:00.
