While Kulbilge was gasping for breath on the ground, everyone who saw him, including a taxi driver, turned their backs and left, prompting the thought that "humanity is dead." Minutes later, a taxi driver who arrived provided first aid to the man, but Kulbilge lost his life.

A drama that wounded consciences took place in the Şükrüpaşa neighborhood of Edirne the night before last after iftar. 48-year-old Kemal Kulbilge suddenly collapsed while walking on the sidewalk and waited for minutes for help from nearby citizens and a taxi driver. The fact that no one provided first aid in those moments when every second was vital made people say, "Humanity is dead." Another taxi driver who arrived minutes later performed first aid on the dying Kulbilge.

Upon the report of the drivers at the taxi stand, the ambulance team that arrived at the scene took the unconscious citizen to the hospital. Despite all the interventions, Kulbilge lost his life. The unfortunate man was laid to rest at the Yenişehir Cemetery after a ceremony held at the Old Mosque.

Speaking after the tragic incident, Kemal Kulbilge's sister, Zehra Çetiner, expressed her reaction to the heart-wrenching images. Çetiner said, "When I watched the footage, I said, 'Has humanity died?' How many people see my brother lying on the ground but did not intervene. When they took him to the hospital, his heart had stopped; they intervened for 40 minutes but could not save him," drawing attention to negligence.

Another driver working at the stand, Mehmet Yıldız, made statements regarding the allegations. Yıldız said, "They call 112 because they do not understand what is happening, but they do not intervene. Another driver friend comes and starts to intervene. We are taxi drivers; there is not a complete situation we can intervene in. Until the ambulance arrives, we tried to help by turning him on his side."
