White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt stated that Trump is at his personal estate Mar-a-Lago in Florida and is closely monitoring the situation with members of the national security team. Leavitt also added that Trump and his team will continue to follow developments throughout the day.

Leavitt mentioned in a statement on social media that Trump had a phone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Spokesperson Leavitt also noted that seven members of the "Gang of Eight," composed of members of the US Congress who are required by law to be briefed on classified intelligence matters by the White House, were informed of the operation through Secretary of State Marco Rubio before the attacks.
