Even doctors and nurses with the highest level of experience in blood donation procedures often struggle to find veins. Infrared rays projected onto the arm through a device developed in the USA allow the veins inside to be seen. This makes the blood collection process faster and less painful. RESULTS ARE PROJECTED ON THE SKINThese devices map veins up to 15 millimeters deep using near-infrared light. The results are projected directly onto the skin. Trials of the device have begun in some hospitals, including those located in Turkey.
