Rojin Kabaiş's father, Nizamettin Kabaiş, stated that he saw the corpse and spoke with the washer, saying, "The washer said, 'Brother, this is not a body that will stay in the water for 18 days,'" expressing his belief that his daughter did not remain in the water during the time she was missing.
The family of university student Rojin Kabaiş, whose lifeless body was found 18 days after going missing in Van, continues to seek justice. Father Nizamettin Kabaiş claimed that there are serious deficiencies in the case, asserting that his daughter was a victim of murder. Kabaiş stated that they will meet with Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç in Ankara tomorrow upon an invitation from the Ministry of Justice.
15 MONTHS OF UNANSWERED QUESTIONS
Speaking to NTV, Nizamettin Kabaiş noted that many questions regarding Rojin's death have remained unanswered for 15 months. He expressed that the request for a meeting from the Ministry of Justice has given the family hope.
CLAIM OF "DNA BELONGING TO TWO MEN"
Father Kabaiş stated that there is a significant amount of evidence in the case, with the most notable being the DNA of two men found on his daughter's body. Kabaiş requested that the evidence be re-evaluated.

Kabaiş, who argued that the cause of his daughter's death was not "drowning," stated, "They harmed her throat. There is no water in her lungs," expressing his objection. He mentioned that he believed Rojin did not remain in the water during the 18 days she was missing, stating that he saw the corpse and spoke with the mortician, relaying the words, "Brother, it's not a body that would stay in the water for 18 days."
REQUEST TO "SPEED UP THE INVESTIGATION"
The family is demanding that the investigation be expedited and that all evidence in the case be re-evaluated. Nizamettin Kabaiş also stated that if the incident is not clarified, he will sit at the door of the Parliament and start a hunger strike.
