A 49-year-old worker, Salih Ataman, lost his life due to the fall of a crane hook at the ship dismantling facility in Aliağa. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.

In the Ship Dismantling Area of Aliağa district in İzmir, worker Salih Ataman (49) lost his life when the hook of the crane came loose and fell on him. The incident occurred yesterday evening at the construction site of a company operating in the ship dismantling facilities.

An INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED REGARDING THE ACCIDENT

The hook, to which the crane's rope was attached, came loose and fell on worker Salih Ataman. Upon notification, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. Health teams determined that Ataman had lost his life during their examination. It was learned that Salih Ataman's funeral will be held tomorrow in the Besni district of Adıyaman. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
