The 97-year-old master artist Haldun Dormen, who was hospitalized due to an infection, has been intubated while receiving treatment in the intensive care unit.
The 97-year-old actor, director, educator, and playwright Haldun Dormen has been receiving treatment in a private hospital since January 5 due to an infection.
ANNOUNCED THE SAD NEWS
The master artist's son, Ömer Dormen, announced on his social media account that his father has been intubated.
Sharing the sad news with his father's loved ones, son Dormen stated regarding his father's health; "You can do it, my dear! My father, whose treatment continues in intensive care, was intubated today to better support his breathing. I wholeheartedly believe that my father will overcome this as well. Hopefully, in the coming days, we can share good news with you. Please keep your prayers coming."
HE SAID "MY TREATMENT IS GOING POSITIVELY"
In a statement made on January 7 from Haldun Dormen's social media account, it was stated, "My treatment is progressing positively at the hospital where I am for control purposes. The process continues under the close monitoring and care of my valuable doctors. I sincerely thank you all for your interest and beautiful wishes. Please place health at the top of your New Year wishes. I embrace you all."
Haldun Dormen, who also holds the title of state artist, is celebrating the 72nd year of his artistic life this year. In the 1990s, Dormen was awarded the honorary title of Doctor of Science by Hacettepe University and has received honorary awards at many important festivals.
