National motorcycle racer Toprak Razgatlıoğlu achieved his 12th consecutive victory and broke the championship record by winning the Superpole race of the 7th leg of the World Superbike Championship in Portugal. Razgatlıoğlu, who now holds the record alone, shared it with Alvaro Bautista and Jonathan Rea. He celebrated his victory in the style of national shooter Yusuf Dikeç.

In the Superpole race at the 4.6-kilometer International Algarve Circuit in the city of Portimao, Toprak, the pilot of the Rokit BMW team, crossed the finish line in first place again after 10 laps. Toprak Razgatlıoğlu became the sole owner of the record he shared with Alvaro Bautista and Jonathan Rea by winning his 12th consecutive race in the World Superbike Championship.

Toprak Razgatlıoğlu, who made history in the championship and celebrated his victory with the shooting style that national shooter Yusuf Dikeç won the silver medal at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, hit the target brought to the track from "12". Leading the rider standings with 340 points, Toprak increased the gap between him and his closest follower Nicolo Bulega (Ducati) to 87 points.
