Zeydan Karalar got stuck on the road due to snowfall while heading to Anıtkabir.

After the warnings from the meteorology, the snowfall that started to show its effects yesterday affected the entire country. While citizens faced various difficulties due to the weather conditions, Adana Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeydan Karalar also got stuck on the road.

"WE ARE WAITING FOR THE HIGHWAYS TO OPEN THE ROAD"

Due to the 24 November Teachers' Day, Zeydan Karalar, who set out to attend the event to be held at Anıtkabir upon the call of CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, got stuck on the road due to heavy snowfall. In a resentful post on his social media account, Karalar stated that flights at Çukurova Airport were canceled at the slightest wind due to his location. Stating that they are waiting for the highways to open the road, Karalar used the following expressions in his video post:

"We have been on the road with my wife since 6:30 AM for the 24 November event we will hold in Ankara at the invitation of our Chairman Mr. Özgür Özel. Our flights are not operating. They have built the airport in a very nice place, thank you. There are no flights at the slightest wind. We decided to go by car because there are constant flight cancellations. We have been on the road for exactly 2 hours. The road is closed. We are waiting for the highways to open the road. Hopefully, we will make it, but it looks very difficult."
