In the Marmaris district of Muğla, a severe storm damaged the dome of the Central Mosque's minaret. It has been learned that the dome of the minaret will be repaired and then reinstalled.
Today at around 18:30, the minaret of the Central Mosque located in the Armutalan neighborhood of Marmaris district in Muğla was damaged due to a severe storm.
COULD NOT WITHSTAND THE STORM
Upon notification from the surrounding residents, fire and municipal teams were dispatched to the scene. The teams warned citizens not to approach the minaret, and the damaged section was removed as part of the operation.
REPAIRED AND REINSTALLED
It was learned that the cone of the minaret would be repaired and then reinstalled in its place.
