Details have emerged regarding the first five days of the ceasefire agreement reached in Gaza. According to this, Israeli prisoners will be released first, and then Israel will withdraw from the occupied territories. Following the Israeli government's approval of the agreement today, President Trump will visit Israel on Sunday to officially declare the end of the war in Gaza.
The Egyptian press wrote about the details of the first phase of the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement that has been reached and is expected to come into effect in Gaza, which will last for 5 days.
THE FIRST PHASE INCLUDES THE RELEASE OF PRISONERS AND ISRAEL'S WITHDRAWAL
According to reports, the first phase of the agreement plans to implement the release of Israeli prisoners and the initial withdrawal of the Israeli army. In the draft that has not yet been officially confirmed by the mediating countries Qatar, Egypt, and the USA, it is expected that the agreement will be formalized today, the Israeli government will approve the agreement, and the names involved in the prisoner exchange along with maps regarding the initial withdrawal of the Israeli army will be published.
The Tel Aviv administration anticipates that there are 20 Israeli prisoners alive in the Gaza Strip and the bodies of 28 Israeli prisoners. In Israeli prisons, there are more than 11,100 Palestinians under harsh conditions such as torture, medical neglect, and starvation. On Friday, October 10, official objections will be allowed before the Israeli judiciary, and the withdrawal of the Israeli army from the field will begin.
TRUMP WILL ANNOUNCE THE END OF THE WAR IN ISRAEL ON SUNDAY
On Saturday, October 11, the Israeli army will continue to withdraw from the settlements, and Palestinian groups will prepare for the delivery of the bodies of known Israeli prisoners along with the surviving Israeli prisoners. On Sunday, October 12, U.S. President Trump will arrive in the Middle East to monitor the implementation of the agreement and will announce that "the war in Gaza has officially ended." On Monday, October 13, the prisoner exchange process will begin under the supervision of Turkey, Egypt, Qatar, and the USA. Israel will hand over the Palestinians it has detained along with the bodies of many Palestinians.
The border gates of the Gaza Strip will be completely opened, allowing the entry of 400 aid trucks into the region daily. In the following days, the number of aid trucks will be increased to 600 or more. Negotiations regarding the second phase of the agreement will be initiated to ensure the complete withdrawal of the Israeli army and the permanent cessation of the war.
TRUMP WILL ADDRESS THE ISRAELI PARLIAMENT
On the other hand, it has been stated that Trump is planned to address the Israeli Parliament. It was also noted that Trump wishes to meet with the Israeli prisoners who will be released, provided their physical and mental health allows.
