A statement has been made by Hamas, which has reached a ceasefire agreement with Israel. Hamas leader Khalil al-Hayya stated, "A permanent ceasefire has begun in Gaza, and 250 detainees, along with 1,700 Gaza detainees, as well as all children and women, will be released. The Rafah Border Crossing will also be opened for both sides." However, there has been no official statement yet from Israel, which has convened its security cabinet.

Hamas has officially announced that a permanent ceasefire has begun in Gaza. The statement included the following: "A permanent ceasefire has started in Gaza, and Israel will release 1,950 women and children detainees. The Rafah Border Crossing will also be opened bilaterally."

STATEMENT FROM HAMAS

Israel and Hamas reached an agreement in indirect talks in Egypt yesterday. Both sides accepted a ceasefire in Gaza and the mutual release of prisoners, with the first official statement coming from Hamas.

"THE WAR IN GAZA HAS ENDED, A PERMANENT CEASEFIRE HAS BEGUN"

Hamas leader Khalil al-Hayya stated: "The ongoing war in Gaza has ended today. A permanent ceasefire has officially begun. Israel will release 1,950 women and children detainees in prisons. The Rafah Border Crossing will also be opened bilaterally. We express our deep gratitude to our mediating brothers in Turkey, Egypt, and Qatar."

Hamas leader Khalil al-Hayya said they received guarantees from the mediators and the U.S. administration, confirming that the war has completely ended.

CEASEFIRE BETWEEN HAMAS AND ISRAEL

U.S. President Donald Trump announced that Israel and Hamas have approved the first phase of the ceasefire plan in Gaza.

Hamas also confirmed that a ceasefire agreement has been reached in the Gaza Strip, expressing appreciation for the efforts of U.S. President Trump, Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that after reaching a ceasefire agreement in Gaza during the talks in Egypt, he would convene the cabinet to approve the ceasefire agreement for the return of Israeli captives.

TRUMP: RELEASE OF HOSTAGES EXPECTED ON MONDAY OR TUESDAY

Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump made a new statement following the establishment of a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. Trump said: "We will slowly rebuild Gaza. I will go to Egypt, and we will sign a new agreement. I thank Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt for their efforts regarding Gaza. We are truly facing an incredible moment. We have ended the war in Gaza and established a much broader peace. We have secured the release of all remaining hostages, and they are expected to be released on Monday or Tuesday."

FIRST STATEMENT FROM ISRAEL

On the other hand, Israel, in its first statement regarding the ceasefire, said, "The ceasefire will begin with government approval." Reports in the Israeli press indicated that the Security Cabinet would meet at 5:00 PM local time. It was stated that the ceasefire agreement reached between Israel and Hamas as a result of the negotiations in Egypt would be approved in the meeting.
