Drug operation in Istanbul: 4 million pills seized.

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that in drug operations conducted in Istanbul, 4 million 42 thousand drug pills, 214 kilograms of methamphetamine, 69 kilograms of cannabis, and 438.5 kilograms of raw materials used in drug production were seized. Eleven suspects were arrested.

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya stated, "We seized 4 million 42 thousand drug pills, 214 kilograms of methamphetamine, 69 kilograms of cannabis, and 438.5 kilograms of raw materials used in the production of drug pills in Istanbul."

In his social media post, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya noted that operations were carried out in various districts of Istanbul as a result of joint efforts conducted by the Narcotics Crimes Department of the General Directorate of Security (EGM) and the Narcotics Crimes and Intelligence Branches of the Istanbul Provincial Police Department.

11 SUSPECTS ARRESTED

Minister Yerlikaya included the following statements in his post: "As a result of the joint efforts; in our operations conducted in the Tuzla, Başakşehir, and Beylikdüzü districts, we seized 4 million 42 thousand drug pills, 214 kilograms of methamphetamine, 69 kilograms of cannabis, and 438.5 kilograms of raw materials used in the production of drug pills. We arrested 11 suspects during the operations. I congratulate those who contributed to this effort."
