The Israeli navy elements illegally seized the ship named "Conscience" from the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, which was on its way to break the illegal blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip and deliver humanitarian aid, in international waters.

3 OF OUR DEPUTIES WERE DETAINED

During the raid on the "Conscience" ship, which set sail from the Otranto Port in Italy to the Mediterranean, cameras were broken and many activists were detained. It has been revealed that among those detained by Israeli soldiers were Saadet Party Hatay Deputy Necmettin Çalışkan, Bursa Deputy Mehmet Atmaca, and Future Party Denizli Deputy Sema Silkin Ün.

"THESE ARE THE DROPS THAT OVERFLOW THE GLASS"

While communication with the deputies was completely cut off, an explanation came from the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmuş, regarding the deputies detained by Israel. Kurtulmuş stated, "If any harm comes to our friends who are members of the Grand National Assembly, you will be held accountable before the world public opinion. Israel, these are now the drops that overflow the glass. Expedite your processes to return Turkey's honorable and heroic deputies as soon as possible."

MINISTRY SOURCES: THEY ARE EXPECTED TO RETURN TO THE COUNTRY TODAY

Sources from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today that it is anticipated that the deputies of the New Path Party, Necmettin Çalışkan, Sema Silkin Ün, and Mehmet Atmaca, who were on the ships belonging to the Freedom Flotilla seized by Israel, will return to the country via air through a third country today.

"ALL MEASURES WILL BE TAKEN"

In a statement made by ministry sources, it was stated, "Our 3 deputies on the ships belonging to the Freedom Flotilla seized by Israel were brought to Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv after being disembarked at Ashdod Port last night (October 8). There is a possibility that our deputies will return to Turkey via air through a third country today. Our other 18 citizens have been taken to the Ketziot Detention Center. It is anticipated that our consulate officials in Tel Aviv will meet face-to-face with our citizens today. Necessary initiatives have been completed for our citizens to return to our country as soon as possible, and all measures are being taken, including arranging a special flight."
