Ibrahim Barut, the son of Nezih Barut, the owner of the pharmaceutical company Abdi İbrahim, who was detained in a drug investigation, tested positive. Nezih Barut stated after his son was detained, "My son has nothing to do with drugs. He doesn't even take medicine."
As part of the drug investigation in Istanbul, the drug tests of 2 suspects from whom blood and hair samples were taken at the Forensic Medicine Institution (ATK) came back positive.
IBRAHIM BARUT AND BILAL HANCI'S DRUG TESTS CAME BACK POSITIVE
A report was prepared by the ATK regarding the 2 suspects from whom blood and hair samples were taken as part of the drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. According to the report, it was determined that the drug test results of detained suspect Bilal Hancı and İbrahim Barut were positive.
Nezih Barut, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Abdi İbrahim, one of Turkey's largest pharmaceutical companies, stated after his son İbrahim Barut was detained, "My son has nothing to do with drugs. What drugs? He doesn't even take medicine. He doesn't even smoke. He is very sensitive about these matters."
