The placement results for the 2025 YKS have been announced. REGISTRATION BETWEEN SEPTEMBER 1-5
According to the announcement made on ÖSYM's website, the central placement processes for the 2025-YKS higher education programs have been completed based on the preferences received from candidates according to the exam results.
Candidates will be able to learn the placement results from ÖSYM's "ykssonuc.osym.gov.tr" website using their T.C. identity numbers and candidate passwords. Additionally, Placement Result Documents will not be printed for candidates and will not be sent to their addresses.
Candidates who have the right to register for a program according to the 2025-YKS results can complete their registration between September 1-5, and electronic registrations can be made between September 1-3.
For registration, candidates need to apply to the university to which they have been placed within the specified period. Candidates who register electronically will proceed according to the documents and dates announced by their universities.
99% OF STATE UNIVERSITY QUOTAS FILLED
Higher Education Council (YÖK) President Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar reported that according to the placement results of the 2025 Higher Education Institutions Exam (2025-YKS), 99% of the total quotas in state universities have been filled, and all quotas in associate degree programs have been filled.
Reminding that the placement results of the exam were announced on ÖSYM's "ykssonuc.osym.gov.tr" address, Özvar noted:
"99% of the total quotas in state universities have been filled, and all associate degree quotas have been filled. All programs with a success ranking threshold in state universities, such as Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Law, have been filled. The occupancy rate in engineering programs exceeded 97%, while it was 95% in teacher training programs. Our candidates showed great interest in the programs based on artificial intelligence, green transformation, and digital technologies in health and agriculture, which we initiated as part of the transformation focused on employment in the higher education system. Not a single quota was left empty in the 27 programs we opened for the first time this year, including 3 bachelor's and 24 associate degree programs. I congratulate all our youth and wish the results to be beneficial."
