The Presidential Cabinet will convene today in the Ahlat district of Bitlis to commemorate the 954th anniversary of the Malazgirt Victory. On the agenda of the Cabinet, which met in Ahlat at the same time last year, are the process of a terrorism-free Turkey, the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, and the increase in civil servant salaries.

THE CABINET MET IN AHLAT LAST YEAR AS WELL
The Presidential Cabinet also met in Ahlat at the same time last year. This meeting was the Cabinet's first meeting outside of Ankara in 21 years. During the AK Party governments, the Council of Ministers convened in Sivas in 2003 due to the 84th anniversary of the Sivas Congress, with a special agenda addressing the problems and needs of Sivas.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will meet with citizens in the Malazgirt Battle Historical National Park on Tuesday.
