The body of a woman found in a trash container in Şişli, Istanbul, with her head severed, has been identified as 37-year-old Durdona Khakımova, a citizen of Uzbekistan. Following the incident, the police launched an intensive investigation. Police teams, reviewing hundreds of security cameras, captured two suspects of Uzbek nationality as they were attempting to flee to Georgia from the airport.
A woman's decapitated body was found in a trash container in Şişli, Istanbul. As the police completed their investigation at the scene, it was determined that the woman was 37-year-old Durdona Khokimova, a citizen of Uzbekistan. While the woman's head and severed legs were not found in the container, a suitcase located on another street was examined. In the subsequent operations, police, who reviewed hundreds of security cameras, captured two suspects of Uzbek nationality as they attempted to flee to Georgia from the airport.
A body wrapped in a sheet was found in a trash container on Kuyulubağ Street in the Duatepe neighborhood around 8:00 PM. Police, who arrived at the scene upon notification, initiated an investigation. During the examination, it was determined that the body was missing its head and belonged to a woman.

SUITCASE CARRIED BY THE SUSPECTS FOUND AND EXAMINED
During the police investigation, while the woman's head and severed legs could not be located, an investigation was initiated regarding the suspects who were reported to have been seen at the scene based on information from eyewitnesses. Additionally, a suitcase seen in the hands of these suspects around the container was found and examined on Bozkurt Street in the same neighborhood.
IDENTITY CONFIRMED
Meanwhile, as a result of the fingerprint analysis taken from the body, it was determined that the woman was Durdona Khokimova, a citizen of Uzbekistan. As the police completed their investigation at the scene, the body was taken to the morgue of the Forensic Medicine Institution. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
THEY WERE CAUGHT AT THE AIRPORT
Following the incident, teams from the Homicide Bureau initiated efforts to capture the suspects. In operations conducted in coordination with the Intelligence Department, it was determined that the murder was committed by a person of Uzbek nationality believed to be in a relationship with Durdona Khokimova, and that his friend assisted him. After reviewing hundreds of security camera footage, it was established that the two suspects went to the airport to flee to Georgia. The suspects were detained before they could escape abroad after 8 hours of work.
