A 38-year-old married woman in Samsun killed her married lover, with whom she had been having a long-term affair, by slitting his throat during an argument in a car. It was revealed that 45-year-old Ferit M., who did not accept the young woman's proposal to break up, first cut her throat with a knife and then killed her by striking her head with a cleaver. Following the incident, the woman's husband and son were also taken into custody.

ARGUMENT BROKE OUT WHEN SHE SAID SHE WANTED TO BREAK UP
The incident occurred around 10:00 PM in a light commercial vehicle with license plate 55 ARH 593 parked on the road to Samsun City Hospital in the Düvecik neighborhood of the Canik district. According to the information obtained, Gamze S. (38), who is married, met her married lover Ferit M. (45) with whom she had been having an illicit relationship for a long time. An argument broke out between them when Gamze S. expressed her desire to break up, and Ferit M. did not accept it.
SHE CUT HIS THROAT AND KILLED HIM WITH A HATCHET
According to the allegations, Gamze S. cut Ferit M.'s throat with a knife she brought with her and struck his head with a hatchet, killing him. Gamze S. went to the police station and surrendered with the knife and hatchet she used in the incident.
THE CORPSE WAS TAKEN TO THE FORENSIC MEDICINE
Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The teams found Ferit M. dead in the vehicle with his throat cut. While the police teams conducted an investigation in and around the vehicle, Ferit M.'s lifeless body was taken to the Samsun Group Presidency of the Forensic Medicine Institution for autopsy.
HUSBAND AND SON WERE ALSO TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
Gamze S. was taken to the Homicide Bureau of the Public Security Branch of the Samsun Police Department for questioning. The homicide bureau, which deepened the investigation, also took Gamze S.'s husband Dursun A.S. and son Aydın S. into custody. The investigation is ongoing.
