A workplace accident in Kayseri claimed a life. Cihan Altıntaş, a 31-year-old mechanic performing maintenance work at a wheel alignment service in the Melikgazi district, was seriously injured when a passenger bus fell on him. Altıntaş was taken to the hospital but, despite all interventions, he lost his life.
A mechanic trapped under a passenger bus that was lifted for maintenance in the Melikgazi district of Kayseri lost his life.
The incident occurred at a wheel alignment service located on Altınok Street in the Anbar neighborhood. According to the information obtained, Cihan Altıntaş (31), who was working at the service, was trapped under the weight of the passenger bus that fell on him for an unknown reason while he was performing maintenance. The young man was seriously injured in the tragic accident.
HE WAS RESCUED FROM THE PLACE HE WAS TRAPPED
Upon notification from the surrounding people, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Altıntaş, who was rescued from the place he was trapped, was taken to Kayseri City Hospital by ambulance. However, despite all the interventions by the doctors, the young mechanic could not be saved.
An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
