As the drug investigation involving famous names has become a hot topic in Turkey, Ömer Aydın, a Digital Content Producer, posed the question, "Why are rappers who mention banned substances in their lyrics not in custody?" during the Magazin Burada program aired on Haberler.com.
In the magazine program "Magazin Burada" published on Haberler.com, Digital Content Producer Ömer Aydın asked the question, "Why are rappers who have banned substances in their song lyrics not in custody?"
As part of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office's Smuggling, Narcotics, and Economic Crimes Investigation Bureau, an operation targeting well-known individuals who have been processed for the crime of using drugs or stimulants has become a hot topic in Turkey.
THERE ARE MANY FAMOUS NAMES
In the operation carried out by the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams, a total of 19 people, including Dilan Polat, Engin Polat, İrem Derici, Kaan Yıldırım, Hadise Açıkgöz, Berrak Tüzünataç, Demet Evgar Babataş, and Feyza Altun, were subjected to investigation.
HE ASKED THE QUESTION EVERYONE IS CURIOUS ABOUT
While 19 famous individuals were released, Digital Content Producer Ömer Aydın asked the question that everyone is curious about in the magazine program "Magazin Burada" published on Haberler.com.
Aydın, who said, "Why are rappers who have banned substances in their song lyrics not in custody?" stated, "If we consider the rap world, we see that the names and effects of banned substances are much more accessible in their songs and music videos. These are songs that many people, unfortunately, from the age of 15 to even their 40s, listen to. You know there are rappers who are 25 years old or even much younger, driving million-dollar cars without being tax record holders. Despite reaching such large audiences, the absence of those names in that file justifies looking at some things from a different perspective."
