In Adana, 44-year-old Serdar Şen stabbed and killed his 38-year-old wife Rabia Şen, who was in the process of getting a divorce. After completing his procedures at the police station, Serdar Şen told reporters who were filming him, "I have cleared my honor."
Serdar Şen (44), who stabbed and killed his wife Rabia Şen (38) during their divorce process in the Ceyhan district of Adana, was sent to the courthouse.
The incident occurred on April 27 at around 03:30 in a house on 263rd Street, Şahin Özbilen Neighborhood. A dispute broke out between Rabia Şen, a mother of 5, and her husband Serdar Şen, with whom she was in the process of divorce. During the argument, Serdar Şen stabbed his wife in various parts of her body. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the house. Rabia Şen, who was taken to Ceyhan State Hospital by ambulance, could not be saved despite all interventions. After the incident, Serdar Şen was detained by the Ceyhan District Police Department.
RETURNED AFTER RECONCILIATION
In the investigation, it was noted that the couple had frequently argued before and that Rabia Şen, who had left the house, had recently reconciled with her husband Serdar Şen and returned. It was reported that the couple, who were in the process of divorce, had argued again, leading to the incident.
"I CLEANED MY HONOR"
After the autopsy procedures at the Adana Forensic Medicine Institution, the body of Rabia Şen, which was received by her relatives, was sent to the Darende district of Malatya for burial. Serdar Şen, whose procedures at the police station were completed, was sent to the courthouse. During this time, he told the press members who were filming him, "I cleaned my honor."
