Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration (İSKİ) announced that due to work to be carried out on certain lines, there will be a water outage for 14 hours tomorrow in Bahçelievler, Esenler, Bağcılar, and Güngören.
In a statement made by İSKİ, it was noted that electromagnetic flowmeter and needle valve works would be carried out on the main transmission lines at the exit of the Bahçelievler Pumping Station, and that the electromechanical equipment replacement of butterfly valves would be performed on the Soğanlı Mahallesi Bağcılar line and the Kocasinan line.
The statement listed the areas where water would not be supplied on Wednesday, June 11, between 10:00 AM and 00:00 PM due to the works as follows:
"In Bahçelievler, the neighborhoods of Bahçelievler (partially), Yenibosna Merkez (partially), Çobançeşme (partially), Hürriyet (partially), Kocasinan Merkez, Zafer, Fevzi Çakmak (partially), Cumhuriyet, Soğanlı, Şirinevler (partially), and Siyavuşpaşa (partially). In Bağcılar, the neighborhoods of Mahmutbey (partially), 15 Temmuz (partially), Bağlar (partially), Barbaros, Yıldıztepe, Fevzi Çakmak (partially), İnönü, Yenigün, Merkez, Çınar (lower part), Sancaktepe, Kemalpaşa (lower part), Yavuz Selim, Kazım Karabekir, and Hürriyet. In Güngören, the neighborhoods of Haznedar, Güven, Akıncılar, Mareşal Çakmak, Merkez, Sanayi (partially), and Güneştepe. In Esenler, Fatih Mahallesi (partially)."
