In the Kahuta region of Rawalpindi district near Pakistan's capital Islamabad, 14 prisoners escaped from a transport vehicle after being taken to court and then to prison.

Police stated that the prisoners escaped from the transport vehicle while being taken back to prison after being produced in court on Monday.
