A total of 60 criminals, including 16 sought with a red notice and 44 sought at the national level, were brought to Turkey through operations and cooperation efforts carried out abroad.
16 wanted with a red notice and 44 wanted at the national level were brought back to Türkiye from 12 foreign countries.
As a result of coordinated efforts by the General Directorate of Security's Interpol-Europol Department, officials from the Ministry of Justice, and the Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime, Intelligence, and Anti-Narcotics Crime Departments, as well as the Cyber, Public Order, and Counter-Terrorism Departments, operations were carried out against individuals who had fled abroad and had arrest warrants issued against them.
A total of 60 criminals, including 16 wanted internationally with a red notice and 44 wanted at the national level, were brought back to Türkiye.
In a statement made by the Ministry of Interior on the subject, it was stated, "In this context, individuals D.A., U.O., M.R., S.K., T.Ç., C.B., Ö.D., S.C., F.G., M.A., Ü.Y., E.E., S.E., A.B., B.Y., and K.T.S., who were wanted internationally with a red notice, and V.B., T.D., A.A., B.S., S.K., H.P., Y.E.S., Y.T., R.B., E.Ü., O.A., S.C.E., S.Ş., C.C., M.A., A.D., O.T., U.Ö., S.Ö., H.A., M.D., G.Ü., M.E., G.A., D.H., Y.Ü., H.A., A.G., M.Y., H.P., M.D., Y.Ö., H.A., Ö.G., E.Y.Ş., A.G., D.C., A.Ö., G.C., N.A., A.Ö., G.E., F.B., and M.E., who were wanted at the national level, were apprehended and their extradition to Türkiye was ensured."
BROUGHT FROM 12 FOREIGN COUNTRIES The Ministry reported that the extradition of suspects was ensured from Georgia (43), Greece (5), Germany (2), the United Kingdom (2), Bulgaria, Montenegro, Poland, Serbia, Armenia, Switzerland, Romania, and Russia.
In a written statement from the Ministry, the offenses for which the criminals were sought were reported as follows:
"Intentional killing, robbery, drug use and trafficking, purchasing unlicensed firearms and ammunition, escape of convicts or detainees, damage to public property, forgery of official documents, causing injury, fraud, theft, premeditated killing, attempted premeditated intentional killing, threats, intentional killing of a child, escape of convicts or detainees, blackmail, violation of the Tax Procedure Law, bringing a foreigner into the country or enabling them to stay, intentional injury, damage to property, qualified violation of domicile, enabling Turkish citizens and foreigners to go abroad, entering military forbidden zones, sexual assault, endangering traffic safety, deprivation of liberty, laundering of assets derived from crime, violation of the Military Penal Code, violation of the Law on the Prevention of the Financing of Terrorism, and being a member of an armed terrorist organization"
