The Ministry of Interior promoted 16 provincial governors to first-class provincial governorships. The decision was published in the Official Gazette and came into effect.

The decision regarding the promotion of 16 provincial administrative chiefs to first-class provincial administrative chiefs by the Ministry of Interior was published in the Official Gazette and came into effect.

With the decision published and signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, 16 provincial administrative chiefs were promoted to first-class provincial administrative chiefs.

With the published decision, the Department Head of the General Directorate of Personnel, Abdulkadir Çelik, Haliliye District Governor Muhammed Serkan Şahin, Inspector of the Ministry of Interior Mehmet Tunç, Kocaali District Governor Haluk Koç, Akyazı District Governor Mustafa İkbal Eşki, Bağlar District Governor Necdet Özdemir, Department Head of the General Directorate of Provincial Administration Asım Solak, Defne District Governor Oğuz Cem Murat, Urla District Governor Mustafa Gözlet, Foça District Governor İhsan Emre Aydın, Department Head of the Directorate General of Migration Management Nazlı Demir, Legal Advisor Ertuğrul Örnek, Afyonkarahisar Deputy Governor İhsan Ayrancı, Seydişehir District Governor Mustafa Hamit Kıyıcı, Department Head of the General Directorate of Provincial Administration İdris Arslan, and Sarayköy District Governor İsmail Pendik were appointed as first-class provincial administrative chiefs.
