SELEN GÖRGÜZEL HAD DESCRIBED IT IN HER STATEMENT Selen Görgüzel was recently detained in a drug operation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. In her statement to the prosecutor's office, Selen Görgüzel mentioned that the fugitive excavation swindler Murat Gülibrahimoğlu, who is alleged to be a secret partner of Ekrem İmamoğlu, fantasized about using drugs on the plane while traveling to Cyprus on a private jet. Selen Görgüzel stated in her testimony that they went to the TRNC for vacation and that Gülibrahimoğlu engaged in inappropriate acts in the back of the private jet. Following the confession, it was revealed that the plane was also rented to the detained Ekrem İmamoğlu.
Selen Görgüzel CONTROVERSIAL FLIGHT WAS MADE ON OCTOBER 30, 2022 The invoices related to the rental transaction carried out on October 30, 2022, have emerged. It was learned that the plane in question is a Bombardier CRJ-850 type jet with the tail number TC-VED, owned by Ziver Air. The plane, purchased by Turkey from the USA in October 2016, began to be used in Turkey. The jet was sold to Ziver Air in June 2022, and then to Güven Air in September 2024. The controversial Cyprus tour took place on October 30, 2022.
22,751 EUROS WERE PAID Regarding this, businessman Veysel Demirci, the actual owner of the plane, noted that they rented the plane at that time and said, "That year we made a contract with Global Jet. They rented it to WW Aviation. They received 22,751 euros for this flight."
HERE IS SELEN GÖRGÜZEL'S STATEMENT According to flight records, there were a total of 11 passengers on the private jet that arrived from Cyprus to Turkey on October 20, 2022. Among these names were Murat Gülibrahimoğlu, Tuncay Yılmaz, İbrahim Bülbüllü, Fatih Keleş, Nilüfer Batur, Ayşe Sağlam, Merve Eryiğit, Rabia Karaca, Hüseyin Köksal, Hakan Karanis, and Selen Görgüzel. It was determined that some of these individuals left the country on the same jet and returned to Turkey on the same plane.
"I WAS SENT BY MÜFTÜOĞLU" Görgüzel stated that she boarded this plane after the Cyprus vacation and that she was sent on this vacation by Emel Müftüoğlu. She expressed that during the Cyprus vacation, Müftüoğlu obtained a casino chip from Murat Gülibrahimoğlu to gamble, and claimed that Gülibrahimoğlu and Müftüoğlu gambled large amounts.
"I DID NOT KNOW IT WAS İMAMOĞLU'S JET" Görgüzel, stating that gambling took place in a private room during the vacation, said she did not encourage anyone to engage in prostitution, adding that while Emel Müftüoğlu may have made money off me, I did not take any money from this person. She said she learned much later that the plane she boarded on the return was the private jet used by Ekrem İmamoğlu. "If I had known that this plane was İmamoğlu's private jet, I would not have used it," she said.
"I WARNED THE GIRLS GOING TO THE BACK ROOM" Görgüzel, claiming she did not enter the closed room on the plane and that she could not remember the conversations about the dump site, money, and drugs because a lot of time had passed, stated, "I definitely did not use drugs on this plane." She also mentioned that when she saw Gülibrahimoğlu and young girls frequently going to the back room, she warned them by saying, "Isn't it a shame, you are letting yourselves be used."
"I DID NOT INTRODUCE DERYA ÇAYIRGAN" In her statement, Görgüzel said she knew volleyball player Derya Çayırgan but did not facilitate introductions with any person. She noted that they had a brief correspondence over social media in the summer of 2025 and stated that she did not want to meet Çayırgan, who said she was alone in Bodrum.
