The Energy Market Regulatory Authority announced that there will be a 38 percent increase in electricity prices. With this increase, the amount to be paid for a residential subscriber with a consumption of 100 kWh of electricity will be 207.23 TL. The price hike will be effective from July 1st.

The Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) announced that "Electricity retail prices have increased by 38 percent for residential subscribers and by 30 percent for agricultural activities subscribers," according to a statement.
