The words "If the rain speeds up any more, we'll die, I swear" in a video the young man shared on social media 7 hours before the accident, filmed by his friend while he was riding the motorcycle, broke hearts.
MOTORCYCLE SPLIT IN TWO
The accident occurred last night on the Western Ring Road in the Hurma Neighborhood of Konyaaltı district. According to information obtained, the car driven by E.H. (30) collided with the motorcycle with license plate 32 AJM 580, driven by Ümit Telemen (22), which was traveling in the same direction. After the accident, the motorcycle driver hit the steel barriers at the side of the road due to the severity of the collision. Following the report, numerous police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Medical teams arriving at the specified location determined that the motorcycle driver, Ümit Telemen, had lost his life. Following the work of crime scene investigation teams, Telemen's body was taken to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute morgue. In the accident, the car and the motorcycle, which was split in two, were removed from the road by a tow truck.
This morning, the young man's body was received by his relatives and friends. His relatives, who were extremely upset, received the body of Telemen, whose autopsy procedures had been completed.
