A 13-year-old girl who was seriously injured after being run over by a tractor she was trying to use in the Kocaali district of Sakarya has died in the hospital.

In the Akpınar neighborhood of Kocaali, Sakarya, 13-year-old Aysima Serra T. was picked up from school by her father, K.T., in the tractor. After returning home, the 13-year-old girl went outside and started the tractor, which had the keys in it.

The small child fell from the tractor after it crashed into a wall and was run over by the tractor's wheel. The seriously injured child was taken to Kocaali State Hospital after the first intervention by the medical teams dispatched to the area upon notification of the situation, but despite the interventions, she could not be saved. An investigation has been initiated regarding the accident.
