A total of 133 workers from 10 different factories in Samsun were hospitalized due to suspected food poisoning.

Workers who had a lunch consisting of milk dessert, chicken broth soup, and rice from the same catering company at 10 different factories located in the Tekkeköy district's industrial site reported symptoms of vomiting, stomach pain, and weakness at around 5:00 PM and sought medical attention at hospitals.

INVESTIGATION INITIATED

133 workers have been treated in hospitals in the province. So far, 25 workers have been discharged. The treatment of the other workers is ongoing. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident, but no official statement has been made by the authorities so far.
