A 14-year-old child was caught driving a minibus, and the father's words upon arriving at the scene were disheartening.

In the incident that took place on Mehmet Ali Demir Street in Büyükbölcek Neighborhood at midnight, the teams of Aksaray Public Prosecutor's Office, together with the guards, stopped the minibus with the license plate number 68 AAP 030, which was traveling towards Büyükbölcek Street due to suspicion. It was determined that the driver, who passed the license and registration control, was underage and only 14 years old.

"IS HE DRIVING WITHOUT A LICENSE?"

While the police officers asked the child for his identification information, the child neither gave his name nor provided any identification information, saying "I don't know." The child called his father for help on the phone and asked him to come to the scene. Giving instructions to the police officers until his father arrived, the child said, "Don't do it, don't take any action." When the Police Center Chief said, "What will we do if you hit someone and kill them?" the child replied, "Why would I hit someone? I'm driving properly." When the chief said, "You don't have a license," the child responded, "Is he driving the car with a license?"

FATHER'S WORDS AT THE SCENE WERE EVEN MORE SCANDALOUS

After a while, the child's identity was determined and it was found that the child was 14-year-old Y.C.Ö. Later, the child's father K.Ö. arrived at the scene and had a conversation with the Police Center Chief. While the duty officer provided information to the child's father about not giving the child a vehicle, the father listened to the chief with a smile and then stroked his son's neck, saying, "Thank you, my dear, don't do anything. Thank you, my dear."

Then, approaching the press member who was filming the incident, the father K.Ö. said, "If you're filming, film this brave son, he won't do anything, film him. This brave son. I am Kadir Özkanlı. The child driver was fined a total of 25,800 TL, 12,900 TL for driving without a license and 12,900 TL for the vehicle owner, for driving an unlicensed vehicle.
