A fire broke out in a grassy area in the Çeşme district of İzmir. As the flames spread over a wide area due to the wind, 2 neighborhoods in Çeşme and 1 neighborhood in Urla were evacuated. Teams are announcing to citizens to evacuate their homes. In the announcement, it is stated, "Attention citizens, please evacuate our homes and move away from the fire area," while there is a danger of the fire reaching residential areas.
INTERVENTION TO THE FIRE FROM LAND AND AIR
Upon notification, 5 planes, 18 helicopters, 36 water tankers, 13 water supply vehicles, and 4 bulldozers from the İzmir Forest Regional Directorate were dispatched to the area along with fire teams.
