It has been revealed that Muharrem Kılınç (50), who went missing in Eskişehir 14 years ago and has not been heard from since, was killed and buried by his brother, Ali Kılınç. The suspect, Ali Kılınç, has been taken into custody, while bones belonging to his brother were found wrapped in a blanket on the floor of an empty house using an underground imaging device.

MISSING FOR 14 YEARS, THE KILLER TURNED OUT TO BE HIS BROTHER
Living in the rural Yahnikapan neighborhood of the Odunpazarı district, Muharrem Kılınç went missing in 2011. When his family could not reach him for a while, they filed a missing person report with the police and gendarmerie teams. However, no trace of Muharrem Kılınç was found in all searches. The Eskişehir Provincial Gendarmerie Command's JASAT Detective Teams reopened the missing person's case and formed a special team. After a year of work, it was revealed that the missing Muharrem Kılınç had been killed and buried by his brother Ali Kılınç (61).
REMAINS FOUND WRAPPED IN A BLANKET
To find the body of Muharrem Kılınç, gendarmerie teams conducted an investigation in the ground next to the family home and in another unused house. As a result of searches using underground imaging devices and cadaver search dogs, bones belonging to the missing Muharrem Kılınç were found wrapped in a blanket about half a meter below the ground. After the examinations, Kılınç's body was taken to the hospital morgue. The suspect, Ali Kılınç, was detained after undergoing a health check. The investigation is ongoing.
