A 17-year-old child who wrote threatening messages on the schoolyard wall of a primary school in Düzce was detained.

According to a statement made by the Düzce Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, an investigation was carried out by teams from the Provincial Police Department Child Branch Directorate under the coordination of the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding threatening writings on the outer wall of Şehit Özgür Işık Primary School in Hamidiye Neighborhood.

17-YEAR-OLD STUDENT TAKEN INTO CUSTODY

It was assessed that E.K.Ö. (17), who was not a student of the school, carried out the incident, and a detention order was issued for the child on charges of "threatening to create fear and panic among the public and damaging public property."

The child, who was taken into custody by teams, was referred to the court with a request for arrest after his statement was taken by the prosecutor's office.
