A 17-year-old Afghan national named Zahra Hosseini, who was working at a plastic crate factory in the Karaman Organized Industrial Zone, lost her life after her scarf got caught in a plastic injection machine. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
A 17-year-old foreign national girl lost her life after getting her scarf caught in a plastic injection molding machine in Karaman.
The incident occurred at a plastic crate factory operating in the Karaman Organized Industrial Zone (OSB).
According to the information obtained, 17-year-old Zahra Hosseını, who is of Afghan nationality, got her scarf caught in the plastic injection machine due to a momentary lapse in attention while she was working.
UNFORTUNATE GIRL'S NECK AND CHIN WERE BROKEN
Other employees, noticing the situation, immediately rushed to help, and health and police teams were dispatched to the address upon notification. Hosseını, who suffered severe injuries with a broken neck and chin, could not be saved despite all interventions at Karaman Training and Research Hospital, where she was taken by ambulance.
An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
