According to reports, two students who went to a bakery in the city center informed the staff about their friend's egg allergy and ordered a cake that did not contain eggs. After celebrating their friend's birthday with the cake, the students noticed that Horuz had fallen ill. Horuz was taken to Ağrı Training and Research Hospital and was admitted to intensive care that same night. Despite the interventions, Remziye Horuz lost her battle for life in intensive care.

2 SUSPECTS DETAINED

As part of the investigation conducted by the Ağrı Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Y.A. (41) and F.Y. (32), who worked at the bakery, were detained. Additionally, it was learned that a sample of the cake taken on the day of the incident was sent to the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Agriculture Laboratory to determine whether it contained egg components.
