A 2-year-old child who wanted to show love to a stray dog in the Ardeşen district of Rize was attacked. Melike Özyanık, the mother who expressed that she instilled love for animals in her child and that they experienced great sadness and psychological shock due to the incident, said, "We are now behaving a little more distant towards animals. This situation has saddened us a lot. Stray animals need to be brought under control a little more."
A 2-year-old child who wanted to pet a stray dog in Ardeşen district of Rize was attacked. The incident took place on Atatürk Avenue in Ardeşen district. According to the information received, Melike Özyanık went out with her 2-year-old son Ozan Özyanık after shopping at the market. Ozan Özyanık, who was eating ice cream outside, started to approach the stray dog lying on the ground. Little Ozan, who wanted to pet the stray dog, was suddenly attacked by the dog.

The incident was recorded by a security camera in the vicinity.

They love animals, but the ones that have owners. With a little trust, he approached the dog. When he turned back and narrowed the distance, the dog suddenly bit his calf. At that moment, the dog moved away with my reaction. The bite of the dog left a psychological impact on my child. We are exposed to vaccination. We love animals. Both of my children love animals. Now, they are more cautious due to this uncontrolled situation. They don't touch the wound. They are more distant from animals now. This situation really upset us. Stray animals need to be more controlled. He got injured. He also suffered a psychological blow. There are children who have had worse consequences.
