A 4.3 magnitude earthquake occurred in the Kiğı district of Bingöl at 20:14. Bingöl Governor Ahmet Hamdi Usta stated in a press release following the earthquake that there were no reports of any negative situations and that damage assessment work had begun.
According to the data from the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), a 4.3 magnitude earthquake occurred with its epicenter in the Kiğı district of Bingöl.
The tremor, recorded at 20:14, occurred at a depth of 13.56 kilometers.
On the other hand, the Kandilli Observatory also announced the magnitude of the earthquake as 4.3.

Bingöl Governor Ahmet Hamdi Usta stated in a social media announcement after the earthquake that there were no negative reports received and that damage assessment work had begun.
Governor Usta used the following statements: "Get well soon Kiğı, as of 29.05.2925 at 20:14, there is no loss of life or property reported to our administration from the 4.3 magnitude earthquake that occurred in our Kiğı district. Damage assessment work is ongoing in Kiğı center and our villages by our AFAD and Gendarmerie teams."
