Hundreds of thousands of people gathered in Istanbul to support Palestine, and a banner that was displayed during the event caught attention. It was seen that a woman was holding a cardboard that read, "In our religion, birds defeat elephants."

Under the leadership of the Turkey Youth Foundation (TÜGVA), participants walked to the Galata Bridge in processions after the morning prayer held at the Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, Sultanahmet, Eminönü Yeni, Fatih, and Süleymaniye mosques, with slogans such as "We are awakening the world," "Yesterday Hagia Sophia, today Umayyad, tomorrow Al-Aqsa," and "A sun is rising."
