The lifeless body of Ali D., a supermarket cashier who went missing in the Kumluca district of Antalya, was found in a wooded area. Investigations revealed that the cashier had been shot and killed with a shotgun.

Ali D. (35), who worked as a cashier at a market affiliated with a gas station in the Kumluca district of Antalya, left his workplace on Monday afternoon, saying, "I'm feeling a bit unwell, I'm going to the doctor." His family looked for him in places he might have gone until the evening, and when they couldn't find him, they reported him missing to the police. The lifeless body of Ali D., who had not been heard from since yesterday afternoon, was found in a wooded area by forest protection officers from the Finike Forestry Directorate, who were conducting a field duty.

SHOT IN THE HEAD WITH A SHOTGUN

Forest protection officers, who saw someone lying motionless on the ground in the wooded area along the Finike Akçaalan neighborhood road near the Kumluca Alakır Dam, reported the situation to the gendarmerie. Following the notification, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. Health teams determined that the individual had been shot in the head with a shotgun. After the examination by the public prosecutor, Ali D.'s body was taken to the Antalya Forensic Medicine morgue for an autopsy.
