A 6-year-old boy named Sami Yusuf Kaya was hit by a stray bullet while riding his bicycle in a park in the Suruç district of Şanlıurfa and later died in the hospital. The police are searching for the person who fired the shot in connection with the incident.

HIT BY A STRAY BULLET WHILE RIDING A BICYCLE
The incident occurred on Sunday in the Barış neighborhood. While riding his bicycle in the park near their home, Sami Yusuf Kaya suddenly fell to the ground and was left in a pool of blood. Upon noticing the situation, his family and those nearby alerted the authorities, and health teams were dispatched to the scene. Kaya, who received first aid at the scene, was taken to Suruç State Hospital by ambulance.
HE LOST HIS LIFE
It was determined that a bullet had struck Kaya's head, who underwent a CT scan due to suspected brain hemorrhage. Kaya was then transferred to Mehmet Akif İnan Training and Research Hospital, where, despite all the efforts of the doctors in the intensive care unit, he could not be saved. The body of Sami Yusuf Kaya was handed over to his relatives after the autopsy procedures.
Police teams conducting an investigation in the area where the incident occurred have initiated efforts to identify the person who fired the gun. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
